John Pellegrini has over 30 years of experience in audio production, voiceover, and creative copy writing. He started in radio in the late 1970s as an on-air talent (disk jockey). Part of the job included interviewing all sorts of different guests from local dignitaries and politicians to celebrities, as well as audience members. John also wrote, voiced, and produced commercials for station business advertisers, which included interviewing the business owners about their products and services. Sometimes those interviews were recorded for use in the commercials.

Later in his radio career John moved from on-air work into full time commercial production, working directly with advertisers and business owners in creating effective advertising campaigns. During those years John worked in a variety of different radio formats, from rock radio to news talk to lite rock, classical, oldies, and even Spanish radio (though he doesn’t actually speak Spanish). No matter what the station format, John was able to help clients deliver their message to the audience in engaging and compelling ways that increased awareness and sales.

In the late 2000s John, like several thousand other radio employees in the United States, found his job eliminated for budget cuts. He transitioned into free-lance voiceover, film audio production, and script writing.

In 2013 John launched his own podcast, Special Parents Confidential, a resource podcast for parents of special needs kids. In this podcast he again interviews all kinds of experts in many different subject areas as a resource for parents of special needs children.
